Our mission is to provide premium impartial advice to individuals and organisations who recognise the need to move from a finite fossil based energy source to a more economical and ethical source through identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions within budget.
Energy Audits
The Environmental Performance of Building Directive (EPBD) contains a range of provisions aimed at improving energy performance of residential and non-residential buildings, both new and existing.
Read MoreBER Cert
A BER Certificate is a standard calculation of the energy performance of the building in question. It is rather like the MPG rating for a motorcar or the A-G rating for household electrical appliances.

This is the ability to see defects and energy loss from your building or home. We employ state-of-the-art thermal imaging equipment that literally takes a picture of energy.

Since April 2018, SEAI have been offering grants for installing heat pumps in homes. Grants are no longer available for fossil fuel burning heating appliance such as oil and gas boilers.
Read MoreWelcome! Thank you for visiting our website. Our team of qualified assessors provide Building Energy Ratings for the domestic, commercial and industrial market in compliance with the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) which came into effect in January 2006. From 1st January 2009 all buildings in Ireland require a BER when offered for sale or lease. Since the 9th January 2013 all advertising must display BER information. The aim of the Directive is to make the energy performance of a building transparent and available to potential purchasers or tenants.
The consultancy and contracting specialists at EcoEfficiency are the one-stop resource that building owners can rely on for, advise on the correct building systems and technical expertise required to ensure reliable, cost effective and people friendly buildings.
Whether it involves troubleshooting problems in an existing building, pre-planning advice on the myriad of new technologies and renewable energy sources or because you wish to do your bit for the environment, we at EcoEfficiency Ireland are here to help. We specialise in BER's Domestic and Non Domestic, DEC's, Infrared Thermography, Heat Pump Technical Assessments, Energy Audits/Plans, Heat Loss Surveys and Part L Compliance.
A Part L Compliance report is required by the local planning authority when a dwelling is applying for planning permission. The Part L Compliance Report is similar to a Provisional BER. It shows that the building will comply with current building regulations Part L when construction is finalised.
We at EcoEfficiency Ireland can assist you by overseeing any energy related improvements to your dwelling or commercial property. Whether it involves grant applications, specifying improved building elements or sourcing and overseeing the installation of the correct renewable.
Our Technical Advisor will provide a full specification report to detail if your home insulation levels are sufficient enough to be able to retain the heat from a heat pump effectively. If your house is not compatible with a heat pump the Technical Assessor will detail what additional upgrade works are required, along with an estimate of each insulation upgrade cost along with possible grants available to you.
Our Energy Plan will include an onsite survey and sit down meeting afterwards to discuss options. We can tailor the survey to suit your budget. A Light Energy Plan is accompanied with a key points advisory report and a Full Energy Plan comes with a detailed specification report (fabric, HVAC and renewables), outlining your energy roadmap for any upgrades.
This is the ability to see defects and energy loss from your building or home. We employ state-of-the-art thermal imaging equipment that literally takes a picture of energy. So if you are looking for a fast inexpensive, non-destructive solution – you have come to the right place!
